Historic Fort Snelling at Bdote

It has come to my attention that some possible paranormal activities have been going on at Historic Fort Snelling. Being the oldest standing United States government post in the area, I can't say that I'm surprised rumors have been spreading about this place.

And so here are the facts:
1.) The land around the Fort has been used for the past 10,000 years.
2.) There are few records of the day-to-day business of soldiers that lived at the Fort.
3.) Two of the buildings (Officers Quarters and the Stone Barracks) have had some strange activity.

And finally
4.) At least two murders occurred at Fort Snelling.

I have been to Fort Snelling many times and there is one area that I find to be particular interesting. The company kitchens are located on the backside of the Stone Barracks. These kitchens were used by the enlisted soldiers living at the Fort and have since been rebuilt. However, from what I understand, some people do not like to go down inside of them. Some say it's because of the dark, while others say there is a negative energy inhabiting the space. Personally, I get a wicked case of the goosebumps when I go down there. It's like someone is watching you, someone who does not want you down there.

Later, I came to find out that one of the murdered bodies were found in company kitchens. Who's body? When did this happen? How were they murdered? Is there spirit still down there? Let's find out.... Stay Tuned....

UPDATE
In my research I have recently dug up the name of the soldier murdered in the Stone Barracks. His name; Private John Smith. His murderer; Private Thomas Baker. Baker apparently stabbed Smith and was later jailed at Fort Armstrong.

But this begs the question; what exactly was Baker's motive? A fit of rage? Did Smith owe him money? Let's try and find out.... Stay Tuned...
