I had been trying to get my hands on a copy of this book for a while. They had a copy at my local library that I requested. However, after waiting for a few months, I check back to see the copy had been lost. That's when I decided to order a copy from Thriftbooks.com.
The Feels:
This is a nice place to get started on some pretty famous true crime cases. Everything is pretty well laid out and nicely organized. Douglas and Olshaker clearly did their research.
The Concerns:
Why is this so white? I know they are famous cases, but I wish there would have beens something new in here. Maybe I'm just not the right audience for this. I would have been nice though to have included at least one new story from a POC/BIPOC culture. There are a lot of great mysteries and they aren't talked about.
The Score:
Plot: N/A
Writing Style: 6/10
Meaningfulness: 5/10
...Stay Tuned...
